Ballymena BID got the chance to attend the VIP Brunch for their Grand Opening this morning. This Grand Opening was one of the most anticipated launch in Ballymena to date as we lost Bob & Bert’s in the past, and now it is just BIGGER and BETTER with its funky-quirky look and its lighting which is warm and welcoming which contrasts against the blue of Bob and Bert’s signature colour!
When I arrived, I was met by a member of staff who welcomed me and had me seated within a few moments after ordering. Considering how many people were attending the event my meal arrived within 10 mins. I chose Poached eggs with bacon and toast (4 slices). At £4.95 I have to say this was good value. Their menu varies from simple Sandwiches and Paninis to Burgers.
Vegan & Vegetarian options/Milk alternatives
There is a selected menu for vegetarian/vegan food options. Each vegan option is also dairy free. The milk alternatives for all you coffee/tea lovers are Soy Milk, Coconut Milk, and Oat milk.
Receiving a Bob & Berts goodie bag and a delicious brunch was what made this rainy day worthwhile. Live music was played to give a chilled ambience to the space.
On my way out, I met and chatted to Jordan Graham, their corporate manager and got a little insight into Bob & Berts, and he answered a few of our most sought of questions…
