Today Monday 12^th June the BID team had the most enjoyable day visiting 5 Primary Schools within the Ballymena District.   Six very special teachers were presented with beautiful flowers from Blossom & Birch and a Ballymena Gift Card, which they can use to treat themselves in over 100 businesses in our Town Centre.

Throughout the month of May we ran a competition via our social media channels @ballymenamens giving children the opportunity to nominate their teacher for a prize.

The response was overwhelming and reading each of the letters and emails that crossed our desk had us very emotional. It’s evident that all the teachers in our district are loved by both pupils and parents and if we could have given every nominated teacher a prize we would have.

Choosing the winners wasn’t easy, but we are delighted to now be able to announce the winners.
